Oman (Muscat, Nizwa, Salalah, Sohar and Muttrah (Muttruh)) has several museums, each with their own subject (archaeological, weapons & arms, marine, etc.) and one for children who want to experiment and learn the basics of science. There are other man made sites and structures that attract a large number of tourists.

The museums are: Bait al Zubair, The Oil and Gas Exhibition Centre & Planetarium, PDO Planetarium, Omani - French Museum, The Sultan's Armed Forces Museum and Aquarium and Marine Science & Fisheries Centre.

While visiting the museums you can take a rest in one of the several, beautiful parks and gardens in Oman.

The parks and gardens are: Qurum Natural Park, Riyam and Al Naseem, Kalbou Beach Park, Al Wadi Al Kabeer Park, Al A'merat Public Park, Quriyat Lake Park, The Park of A'Seeb Beach and Al Sahwa Park

And you must visit the many mosques in Oman. They are worth the visit, even if you're not a Muslim, because of their technical, beautiful and fairy-like designs and constructions, each with their own form of architectural diversity that reflects the era in which they were built.

Some of the mosques are: Sultan Saeed Bin Taymoor Mosque, Muscat Governorate, Al Sayeeda Maizoun Mosque and Sukeina Bint Alawi Mosque.
